Please recommend a plug in air fresh that lasts a long time

Yipes I've never heard that plug in scents were bad for you. I did find in Snopes that the fire hazard claim was false. @tibbrix, can you point me toward some date in this respect. Reeds are nice but I've not found any that last any time. I like the Yankee Candle plug ins and try to buy them on sale as pricey.
